KNS 01
January 3, 2024
KNS 01 is a Max for Live prototype device that explores modelling of basic analog modules, oscillators and a ladder filter.
Piet
January 2, 2024
Piet is a Max for Live Device that can help the user navigate through the session clips and control their transport individually or collectively via MIDI note or program assignments.
Paik
January 1, 2024
Paik is an implementation of the Karma external by Rodrigo Constanzo & his team as a M4L device, with some basic button functionality that can be mapped to MIDI controls.
Traces 2
May 1, 2021
A sample-playback instrument that creates textures based on fragments of your waveform(s). The magic of this particular instrument lies just between traditional sample-looping and the ‘micro’ sound of granular synthesis – Traces rests on neither extreme and yet it brings a glimpse of both: the vibrating, pulsating rhythm of fragmented audio.
Modulo
April 1, 2021
Modulo is a suite of Max for Live devices that aim to treat Ableton Live itself as a kind of modular system. It doesn’t pretend to be a modular synthesizer per se but it provides a toolbox of sorts with simple devices, each with a single purpose in mind. The idea is to make it easy to get creative with sound design and performance systems directly in the DAW environment.
Zürich
April 1, 2021
Zürich is a monophonic synthesizer featuring a swiss-army-knife-type oscillator bank, with the standard waveform generators, a waveshaper and a basic sample-playback engine. The standard oscillators can play up to 6 voices which can deviate in frequencies intuitively, easily creating rich, velvety textures. Also added is a noise generator (with white and pink types), and each generator comes with an independent filter (a Sallen & Key type, designed by Surreal Machines) and AR envelope. Most controls are readily available for MIDI mapping and automation.
Telar
February 1, 2021
Telar is a dynamic MIDI mapper for Sensel Morph’s Thunder Overlay. Thunder’s controls are split into a simple symmetric setup and an intuitive structure. It also features a sophisticated preset system, designed with live performance in mind. Each slider can be mapped to any one note (or chord), XYZ control or MIDI channel.
Kandinsky
August 1, 2020
Kandinsky is a 12-tone matrix generator & player for Max for Live (soon to be published as a standalone app as well). It let's you define a 12-tone row for music composition and automatically creates a matrix of the standard row variations (primes, retrogrades, inversions and retrograde inversions). Furthermore, you can then create note groupings in order to make chords out of the series. You can also transpose each note in the series within an 8-octave range. The whole matrix and types of chord processing can be selected via MIDI and played in real time.
Acanto
October 1, 2019
Acanto is an analog-type sequencer for Max for Live, with variable rhythmic control multi-timbral capacity. Its transport system can be completely independent from Live’s transport (of course, if you want your sequences to be quantized to a bar or beat, or an eight note, you can do that as well). Each step can have its own rhythmic value and can also be routed to an independent output, via an Acanto bus device.
